REGISTRATION YEAR: As a winter wheat variety developed by crossing in 1998.
MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERS: The spike is white, smooth, awnless and compact. The plant height is 95-105 cm. The grain is oval, strong, red and very large.
AGRICULTURAL CHARACTERS: The variety is winter wheat and medium early. The resistance to winterkilling and drought is very good. It has high productive tillering. The plant height is medium-high, so it has medium resistance to lodging. It characteristics are high genetic potential for grain yield. The grain yield is about 5000-7000 kg/ha. It is suitable for growing on fertile and less fertile soils. It is grown in most wheat producing region of the Trakya and other regions of the Türkiye. Favorable planting rate is between 450-500 g seeds/m2 and nitrogen fertilization is about 120-150 kg/ha pure N.
PATHOLOGY CHARACTERS: The variety has to shattering and medium resistant to powdery mildew. It has resistance to yellow rust and susceptible to leaf rust and root rot.
GRAIN QUALITY: The grain quality is good. It has milling and baking quality. The mass of 1000 grains is about 38-42 g, volumic mass of grain 78-82 kg. Some quality characters are about; protein 12-14%, sedimentation 35-45 ml, gluten 35-45%, gluten index 60-70%, absorbsion 60-65% and energy value 190-220.
