As part of the joint efforts carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Ministry of National Education (MoNE) to strengthen, modernize, enhance the effectiveness, and improve the functionality of agricultural education at the high school level, as well as to ensure more efficient utilization of educational opportunities in line with the needs of our country, Deputy Director of National Education for Ankara Province, Mr. Veli Karakuş, and his delegation visited our Institute. During the visit, the delegation toured the Turkish Seed Gene Bank and the Biotechnology Research Center, which are among the advanced R&D infrastructures of our Institute. Information was provided on the research and practical applications conducted at the Institute, and breeding activities and improvement processes carried out in various plant species, particularly wheat, were introduced.

At the end of the program, the delegation paid a courtesy visit to our Institute Director, Dr. Rahmi Taşcı. During the meeting, views were exchanged on current expectations in agricultural education, opportunities for cooperation, and potential future initiatives.
