​At the 2024 Project Evaluation Group Meetings organized by our General Directorate, four of our projects were accepted: two projects submitted under the Plant Diseases group, one project under the Agricultural Policy and Economic Research group, and one project under the Temperate Climate Fruits Research group. Our accepted projects are: "Determination and Identification of Viral Disease Agents in Almond Orchards in Adıyaman Province via the RT-PCR Method" presented by our Deputy Institute Director, Dr. Ela TOHUMCU; "Investigation of the Usability of Biochar Obtained from Almond Shell Waste in the Control of Phytophthora Blight (Phytophthora capsici) in Pepper" presented by Dr. Belgin YOLDAŞ; "Approach of Almond Producers to Good Agricultural Practices and Their Economic Analysis" presented by Agricultural Engineer Aliye GÜLDÜ; and "Effects of Vermicompost and Farmyard Manure Applications on Fruit Yield and Quality in the Ferragnes Almond Variety" presented by Agricultural Engineer Naime ALTUNTOP. We wish our projects great success.
