The experimental trial of the project named as "Estimate Size Fish Population Using eDNA: Karatas Lake Case" has been started in hatchery of institute in Fuat BİLGİN (Fisheries Engineer, MsC.) leadership. Ankara University, Agriculture Faculty, Fisheries Engineer Department is partner institute of this project.
The aim of this study is assessment of population sizes/biomass comparing eDNA of Cyprinus carpio, Carassius gibelio, Scardinius erythrophalmus and Sander lucioperca in water of Karatas lake with eDNA copy number standart created previously and take advantage from species specific DNA copy number.
