A competitive new model for breeding new varieties

​Fruit Research  Institute new project titled "Determination of Breeding Targets with a Supply Chain Neeeds: The Pear Example" has been awarded to be supported by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) 1001 programme. Project results will contribute to increase their market success of new fruit varieties wkich we have breeded and Turkey will make an important contribution to the competitiveness of the fruit production. Due to his devoted work, the project leader Dr. Gökhan ÖZTÜRK thanked to project staff Dilek Karamürsel, Assoc. Dr. Emel Kaçal, Pınar Öztürk, Ayşegül Sarısu, İrfan Nazlı, Ö. Faruk Karamürsel, Melih Aydınlı and Atakan Güneyli, who have strengthened our team with their contributions, also he thanked for the helps Prof. Dr. Orhan Gündüz who is an Academian at agricultıral economics department of Turgut Özal University in Malatya and thanks to Prof Dr.Esra Çapanoğlu Güven is an academician at Istanbul Technical University Food Engineering Department and we wish the project to be beneficial for Turkish agriculture
