Fruit Research Institute is with our farmers by regarding to "the approach of General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies is at the practice on field" with its training and survey studies in addition to its research activities. Akşehir Lake basin which is one of the important sweet cherry production regions of our country evaluations were made by our subject experts in line with the demands of the producers. It has been observed that in Sultandağı and Akşehir cherry production regions the yield is partially low, the quality is high, despite the great concerns of the farmers, pests are not a big problem and the harvest continues successfully. Many farmers interviewed expressed their satisfaction and thanked our experts for their interest.
