​​In the Production and Operations Department constituted on the purpose of bring in to the revolving fund unit contained within BATEM, production and evaluation activities at the institute fields are being conducted.

In the Production and Operations Department,

-There are production facilities in 3 different locations and approximate 850 decare field (garden, nursery garden, collection and genetical resources parcels, production and breeding parcels). Also, material, machine and labor-force participation are supplied to the research and tests.

-There are 60.000 pcs production capacity in the virus free certificated citrus (orange, mandarin, lemon, grapefruit, pomelo, lime, kumquat) sappling, 10.000 pcs production capacity in avocado sappling, 10.000 pcs production capacity in pecan nut sappling. Pomegranate and loquat production can be made depends on the demand.
