To carry out socio-economic research with a multidisciplinary approach, to provide information and data that will guide research and policies, to continue its activities as a department that provides solutions to socio-economic problems.

DUTIES OF THE DEPARTMENT

• Calculation of production costs of field crops and livestock, which are the subject of study of the Institute,
• Making economic analyzes of the researches,
• Determination of farmer and industrialist trends, due diligence,
• To make regional, national and international projects on Rural Development, Rural Sociology, Agricultural Extension, Agricultural Management and Agricultural Policies
• Taking part in the Institute Editorial Board and the boards deemed appropriate by the Institute Directorate
• To perform other works given by the Institute and the General Directorate,
