AKSAM continues in full swing to carry out one of the most comprehensive
projects in inland waters; “Determination of the Genetic Diversity of
Carp Populations in Resources”. The studies in Black Sea Region of the
project were completed with the contributions of Trabzon Fisheries
Central Research Institute. Up to date, fish samplings from 24 out of
total 30 provinces have been taken. Main aim is to finish the project
with evaluation of molecular analyses results after completion of
sampling.
