Breeding efforts by our Institute continue for the Antalya Barb (Antalya Sirazı) and Antalya Bleak (Antalya İnci), which are endemic to the Antalya region and classified as VU (Vulnerable) according to IUCN criteria. For the purpose of protecting and ensuring the sustainability of natural stocks, juveniles that reached the appropriate size have been released into Boğaçayı, Ekşili, and Doyran ponds in coordination with the Provincial Directorate Team.
